ProeLang offers students a 'structured' maze of information, Internet links and Internet based practices to go from one stage of learning the language to another. 
​Contemporary online educationcan be challenging, yet fascinating  as a process of re-shaping teaching and learning. ProeLang - run by the teachers, who on an every day’s basis practise the traditional teaching based on direct contact – resulted from the need to offer students alternative, fully independent materials for self-learning. The ProeLang website,under development, tries to follow contemporary directives to include within the idea of online learning and teaching, such as  social networking sites, mobile technology, blogs or wikis, open educational resources, virtual worlds, such as Second Life, online tools or courses, social media, e.g. micro-blogging (e.g. Facebook) and also student-generated digital content.

Learning is personal. There are as many ways of learning as there are learners.   Traditionally, learning is associated with teachers, students and classrooms. Now you can decide when, how and how fast.

In today’s world, time and space is in shortage. Therefore, managing your own time and space for learning is essential. You can do that by building your ideal language environment independently and choosing your own path.

PROeLANG has been designed especially to help you save time, create space  make your learning personal online.  Our project aims at combining both the development of personal learning environments as well as offering a common e-space for peer learning and tutoring.

WHY? because it offers a learning solution for overcoming boundaries of time, space and resources in today’s demanding world

HOW? through an e-learning kit of tools available to you when you need it

FOR WHOM? mainly postgraduate independent learners but also the general independent researchers

WHEN? the first part of the project will be accessible in the summer of 2013

WHO? Urszula and Ramona teach all levels of Polish and respectively, Romanian at UCL SSEES in London, UK.
